What is a good average review or star rating?

There is no cut and dry rule about what a good star rating is. That is why it is important to compare your average rating to that of your competitors.

For example, if your competitors are averaging a 3.2 and you’re averaging a 3.7, you’re actually doing well.

By contrast, if you’re at a 4.3 but your competitors are at a 4.6, you do not look as good to your customers.

In general, we recommend a lead of at least ½ star above other competitors to be considered a leading veterinarian within your local community.
