- Obtain an Authorization Code (EPP Code): Consider this code as the key to initiate the domain transfer process with the new registrar. You can find it by logging into your Domain Host website and locating transfer codes, or you can contact a representative to assist you in obtaining them.
- Create Account- Create an account at www.Godaddy.com
- Transfer Codes- Follow the steps provided below to initiate the transfer.
- Sign in to your GoDaddy Transfers Page. (Need help logging in? Find your username or password.)
- Select Transfers In and then select the Finalize Transfer tab. Search for a specific domain using the search field above your domain list.
- Enter the auth codes for a single domain or for many domains in bulk.
- Single domain: Select Enter in the Auth Code column.
- Multiple domains: Select the checkbox next to the domains needing an auth code and then select Enter Auth Codes above your domain list.
- Enter the authorization code for the selected domains.
- Select Submit to save your changes.
- You'll see confirmation that your changes have been accepted. Domain transfers usually take 5 to 7 days to complete.
- Domain Transfer to GoDaddy: After transferring the codes, it's crucial to proceed with the next steps promptly, as they can expire. Initiate the domain transfer process with the new registrar by entering the domain and transfer codes, and make the necessary payment for the domains on the new registrar. Usually, this amounts to around $10 - $11 per domain.
- Transfer Completion: The domain transfer process typically takes 3-7 business days to complete. Once it's finalized, the domain will be under the management of the new registrar (GoDaddy), allowing us to effectively manage your domain.
