Social Media and Review Sites that you need to Sign up to!

Which social media platforms should I sign up to and how do I do that?

It’s important that you claim your business listing on all the top and most relevant social media platforms.  This checklist below can help you keep track of the ones you need.  If you are setting up your social media accounts for the FIRST TIME, it is important that you use the same email account for consistency.  It’s much easier to have all notifications and user/pass information on one account than spread across multiple email addresses or usernames.

If you have previously set one of these accounts up, and it was with an old username or email address, make sure that you have that information and can log into the account.  When we go to set up your Marketing Platform, we will need to test the logins, so having the proper passwords and login information will help the process.

Facebook Business

https://Facebook.com

Instagram

https://Instagram.com

Google My Business

https://www.google.com/business/

LinkedIn

https://www.LinkedIn.com

Pinterest

https://Pinterest.com

Videos

https://youtube.com

Of all the above social platforms, the only tricky one is Facebook Business Manager.

Should I also sign up to all the Reviews sites?

We do highly recommend that you consider the following list of Review sites and sign up to them.  Our Marketing Platform is able to pull in reviews from all of these sites, so having access to this information would be ideal:

Bing*

Citysearch

https://citysearch.com

Foursquare

https://www.foursquare.com/

Insiderpages

https://www.insiderpages.com

Merchantcircle

https://www.merchancircle.com

Superpages

https://www.superpages.com

Yahoo

https://www.yahoo.com

Yellowpages

https://www.yellowpages.com

Yelp

https://www.yelp.com/

NOTE:  Bing and Yelp are partnered, as a result Bing pulls reviews in from Yelp.  Bing no longer allows business reviews to be left directly on their platform.

Again, use your social email so that all accounts (both social and review sites) are linked to the same email account.
