Pasting from Google Docs
Are you creating content on your GeniusVets or GeniusPlatforms website? Are you first creating it in Google Docs and then pasting it into the editor?
If you do this you may have formatting issues when you do that. That is because the information in the editor will copy over, and sometimes it inherits fonts, styles, and loads of other things that will cause your newly created page to look very different then the default pages on the rest of your website.
Basic Steps to Clear Formatting
How do you clear formatting in Google Docs?
It's surprisingly easy and doesn't require any advanced tech skills. So, roll up your sleeves, and let's get started:
- Select the Text: First, highlight the text that you want to clear the formatting from. This could be a single word, a paragraph, or the entire document.
- Navigate to the Menu: Go to the top menu and click on Format.
- Choose Clear Formatting: In the dropdown menu, select Clear Formatting. You might also notice the shortcut Ctrl + \ (Windows) or Cmd + \ (Mac) that does the same thing.
Voilà! Your text will revert to the default style for Google Docs. It's like hitting a reset button for your text's appearance.
Now that you have your newly "cleaned" text, you can paste that into the page you are creating on your GeniusPlatforms website.
